On 19 July 2023, Jordi Fillat was a speaker at the conference organised by the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB), as part of the 8th Barcelona Bar Association Congress, entitled “New models of dispute resolution in the field of air transport: Procedural and substantive aspects”, and spoke about the pending issues to be resolved and possible proposals for improvement of the new Alternative Dispute Resolution procedure managed by the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) and also gave an explanation of the protocols in the field of air transport that are being carried out in some Courts of First Instance in Spain. Mario Rodríguez González, Head of the Passenger Rights Division of the EASA and Jaime Tomás Guerra Balic, lawyer and member of the Aviation Law section of the ICAB, also participated as speakers.
